When we clean liquid crystal display, it’s not allowed to use any alkaline or chemical solutions to clean the surface of LCD. There are two categories of marks on LCD panel, i.e., the dust in the air left on surface and finger mark or greasy dirt from user. Wrong cleaning method would damage LCD.
- Don’t use common soft cloth or tissue to clean LCD. Maybe you think that glasses cloth is soft enough. Actually not. For LCD, glasses cloth is too rough and would scratch LCD easily.
- Don’t use plain water to clean LCD. Cleaning liquid can go inside the LCD easily, which would cause short circuit and damage the electronic device.
- Don’t use alcohol or other chemical solution to clean LCD. They would dissolve the special coating on LCD, which has bad display effect to LCD.
